What is Camp Well?

Camp Well is a 6-month discipleship experience. It begins February 1st with online content and teaching. April 15th – 18th, 2024, I will gather in person with 40 other women for 4 days to continue working through the curriculum that will help us live in union with Jesus, live in unity with one another and live unleashed to bring the Kingdom near. 

Why do I want to go?

Hi! I want to say thank you for clicking this link and for even considering helping me go to Camp Well! I have found myself at a crossroads of what is next. I have felt this tension in my soul since January of the questions – “what was i made to do?”, “where does God want me to share His name?”, “what does God want me to join Him in?” These questions that have roots in identity, purpose, and calling. The topics that have weighed heavy on my heart. It has been a wrestle to keep myself from running ahead with worry. Will i be equipped and ready for what God’s calling me to? Am i too young? Am i even hearing Him correctly? These questions swirl through my mind often.

Which brings me to Camp Well. I was encouraged to consider going by a friend. When i started to think about it i found myself believing the lies that i’m not worthy enough to even be considered to go on a retreat. I figured this was for people who basically knew what they were doing and just needed some slight direction – not someone like me who doesnt feel like i ever know what direction i’m going in. God has been faithful to provide every next stepping stone, and this has been just one more in the long line of stones He’s placed before my feet to walk upon. This retreat, reprieve, and rest is something my wound-up, achy heart needs in the transitioning of seasons in my life. I have felt the pull to take a jump of faith into the unknown of what’s next in my story. That takes community, vulnerability, discernment, and space to listen and heed the call. I think this is what Camp Well would offer me. A place to find Jesus, to listen to Him, and to walk with Him. I am expectant and eager to see what God does with this time away. I think my emotions are best summed up by a quote of my current favorite song – “i dont have much, but i have a heart that beat for You.”
