What is Camp Well?

Camp Well is a 6-month spiritual formation experience. It begins August 1st with online content and teaching. October 20-23th, Angie will gather in person with 50 other women for 4 days to continue working through practices and rhythms that will invite us to live in union with Jesus, live in unity with one another and live unleashed to bring the Kingdom near.

Why do I want to go?

For the past six years, I’ve been working for a church and doing college ministry. I love Jesus, I love his people… and if I’m being honest I feel like I’ve lost myself through the process. Sadly, I’ve been feeling pretty burnt out, weary, and tired. I want to have a healthy sense of self, but oftentimes find myself believing lies about God, others, and myself. While there have been many joys, this past year has been really hard and turbulent for me.

I don’t want to just feel like I’m surviving with Jesus in life. I want to live and flourish with him.

Ultimately, I’m praying for and seeking restoration and healing. I believe Camp Well is the next right step for me to take. I know it will be hard, but someone once told me “easy doesn’t change you.” I want to put in the necessary soul care work for the restoration I’m asking God for and trust him with the rest. I can have a natural bent toward isolation, so I feel like an environment like Camp Well would really help me walk this journey alongside other women and remind me that I’m not alone.
