Camp Well is a 5-month spiritual formation experience. It begins August 1st with online content and teaching. October 17th-20th, I will gather in person with 59 other women for 4 days to continue working through the curriculum that will help us live in union with Jesus, live in unity with one another and live unleashed to bring the Kingdom near.

It has been a long time dream to attend Camp Well and I’ve been waiting for the Lord to make it clear when the right time might be. I’m not at all surprised that the time has come. 2024 held a lot of hard, exciting, taxing things – health challenges, buying my first home, leaving the small garage apartment and family I had lived with for nearly 5 years, and leading a demanding project at church alongside my normal ministry responsibilities. After barrelling head first into burnout last fall, I feel the Lord slowly refreshing and rebuilding my soul as I prioritize real rest and evaluate my relationship with work and worth. 2025 marks 12 years in vocational ministry and while I know that God has made me for this work, I deeply desire to walk in a greater confidence that my identity is in Christ alone and not in the church, people, or place that I serve. I want to give my life away freely and fully, and not lose my soul in the process. The Lord is teaching me so much about how to navigate that tension right now and I’m hopeful that attending Camp Well will be one more deposit in pursuing health, wholeness, and walking in the newness of life afforded to me in Christ, in order to lead, shepherd, and minister well and wisely for years to come.
