What is Camp Well?

Camp Well is a 6-month spiritual formation experience. It begins August 1st with online content and teaching. October 20-23th, I will gather in person with 50 other women for 4 days to continue working through practices and rhythms that will invite us to live in union with Jesus, live in unity with one another and live unleashed to bring the Kingdom near.

Why do I want to go?

I first heard about Camp Well several years ago and have been praying for a chance to go. This is the year! I believe that God calls invites us into wholehearted living. This is what I believe Camp Well makes space for. Proverbs 3:5-6 is a grounding passage in Scripture in my life. It says, “Trust God with all your heart….” Not just the pretty cleaned up parts; God also invites us to bring the messy and broken bits. I felt called to pastoral ministry in late 2021 and have continued to pursue that call. As a dear friend says, it has often been uncomfortable and inconvenient. And it’s been worth it all. These last few years have shaped my faith in amazing ways I could not have dreamed of.

With Camp being just a few hours drive for the first time, and having received a scholarship to help support this 6 month formational experience, God is making a way. I feel called out of my comfort zone, once again, to seek support for the reminder of the cost. I am grateful for any support.
