The only thing the Lord told me at the beginning of 2023 was to “be patient” & “pay attention”
I entered last year with a lot of unknowns. And it sure is hard to “set goals” when you don’t know where you are going or what you are doing next. But this year, I am walking into 2024 with new fresh vision. If I am being honest, there is still a remnant of fear going into next year – even with fresh vision. “What if this fresh vision goes no where?” I recently sat in the Psalms, holding tightly to every word that reminded me that the Lord is trustworthy and faithful. Then the Lord led me to begin recounting every month of this last year of “being patient” & “paying attention”, I reflected on His faithfulness, provision, conviction and guidance over these last 12 months and that simple practice helped me refocus on the year ahead, trusting that the Lord is who He says he is no matter what.
If you are entering into 2024 with some question marks, it may be that the Lord is inviting you to “be patient” and “pay attention”. Take your time reflecting and look for the character of God – who He is, who he always has been and who he always will be.

My prayer is that this year, as we live in union with Jesus and unity with one another – that together – we will live unleashed to bring the Kingdom near.
union . unity . unleashed
“When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.”
Ephesians 3:14-21 NLT
